Managing Your Decks

  • Creating a Deck: From the "Decks" page, click the "Add New Deck" button to open a form where you can enter a title and description for your new collection.
  • Adding & Editing Cards: Click the "Edit Deck" button on any deck card. This will take you to the edit page where you can add new flashcards, update existing ones, or delete them.
  • Import & Export: In the main navigation bar on the "Decks" page, you can find options to "Import" from or "Export All" to a CSV file. This is a great way to back up your collection or share it with others.

Using the AI Features

  • API Key First: To power the AI features, you must first add an OpenAI API key on the "Settings" page. Your key is stored securely in your browser's local storage and is never sent anywhere else.
  • Generate Card Answers: When adding or editing a card, type your question on the front and click the "✨ Generate with AI" button. The AI will provide a concise answer for the back of the card.
  • Mem Chat: Navigate to the "Mem Chat" page to have a conversation with your AI study assistant. Ask it questions, get explanations, or brainstorm ideas for new decks.

Practicing Your Cards

  • Practice Session: Click "Start Practice" on a deck to begin a study session. If you get a card wrong by clicking "Again," it will be added to a review queue so you can try it again before the session ends.
  • Keyboard Shortcuts: For faster studying, use your keyboard:
    • › Press Spacebar to flip the current card.
    • › Press the Left Arrow (←) for "Again".
    • › Press the Right Arrow (→) for "Good".
